THE mayor of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead has been rubbing shoulders with former Prime Minster Theresa May.
Councillor Neil Knowles has been getting out into the community attending local events, including most recently the Maidenhead Chamber of Commerce gala dinner.
The annual Gala Dinner took place on Friday, April 19, and was held at the newly refurbished CIM, Moor Hall in Cookham.
The stunning black tie event is staged to support local causes and this year was held in support of Thames Hospice. A post from organisers following last month's successful event said: "Thank you to all who came to our annual Gala Dinner on Friday, April 19. A wonderful night raising £2,755 for Thames Hospice."
Following the event, councillor Knowles took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to celebrate the occasion with a short statement and several pictures of the evening.
In one tweet, the mayor posted a picture of himself and former Prime Minster Theresa May's husband Philip May, and another picture mayoress Teresa Knowles alongside ex PM Theresa May.
He said: "Tonight with Maidenhead chamber of commerce Gala dinner. Sir Philip and I lamenting the lack of Selfies- the Teresa's at it again!"
