A HELICOPTER which could be seen flying over Maidenhead on Wednesday evening was helping officers look for a missing person.
The police helicopter from National Police Air Service Benson was tasked with assisting officers on Wednesday evening (May 10) at about 8.42pm.
Thames Valley Police had received reports of a missing person from the Maidenhead area and there were concerns for their welfare.

A spokesperson for National Police Air Service have confirmed that the total flying time, including transit to and from Maidenhead, was 33 minutes overall.
Thames Valley Police have been unable to comment on the presence of the helicopter and thus the status of the search is unknown.
