A man who attacked three police officers has been handed wide-ranging bans from Slough town centre and Windsor.

Anthony Jones, 51, of no fixed abode, appeared before Reading Magistrates' Court on December 11 last year.

He pleaded guilty on three counts of assaulting an emergency worker, one of being drunk and disorderly in public, and one of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.

On September 14 last year, Jones attacked three police officers in Slough. On the same day, he was arrested after using threatening or abusive words and behaviour at Wexham Park Hospital.

Magistrates jailed Jones for 15 weeks. He was also made subject to a criminal behaviour order for three years.

As part of the terms of this, he is prohibited from entering Slough town centre or Windsor. In addition, he has been banned from drinking in public, and must seek mental health treatment.
